Four men are facing charges following an investigation into sexual assaults in Gatineau, Que., according to police. The Gatineau Police Service says officers launched an investigation into “sexual offences against minors at a residence on Chemin de la Savane.” Police say the suspects allegedly met people between the ages of 12 and 18 at shopping malls and through social media apps such as Snapchat. “Subsequently, the victims were allegedly offered temporary accommodation, where they were given intoxicating substances,” police said, adding the alleged offences occurred between the end of 2024 and May 22, 2026. Police say 28-year-old Mohamed Doulde Sow, 30-year-old Jonathan Muanda-Kuika and 31-year-old Emmanuel Lokota-Sangwa were arrested on May 21 and charged with sexual assault, sexual contact, and administering, causing to be administered, or attempting to cause to be administered a drug or substance. On May 22, 29-year-old Kouame Samuel Levi Minomekpo was charged with sexual assault, sexual assault with the participation of another person, and administering, causing or attempting to cause the administration of a drug or substance. “Investigators have reason to fear that the individuals may have other victims and that some are still hesitant to break their silence,” police said in a French media release.
