Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on crash west of Kemptville last week. Ontario Provincial Police say it happened just before 6 p.m. Friday on County Road 43 near Meadowglen Circle. An SUV and another vehicle collided in the westbound lane, police said in a news release Monday. All three people in the vehicles were taken to a regional trauma centre with potentially life-threatening injuries. Their condition was upgraded later that evening, police say, but their injuries were still considered “very serious.” County Road 43 reopened just before midnight when an on-scene investigation was completed. An investigation continues. Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant dash-cam video, is asked to contact the OPP Grenville Detachment at 1-888-310-1122 and refer to incident E250725667.
