The operator of a farm tractor was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Vankleek Hill, Ont. Ontario Provincial Police say emergency crews responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a farm tractor on Highway 34, near Ridge Road, just before 9 p.m. Monday. “The operator of the farm tractor was pronounced deceased at the scene,” OPP Sgt. Erin Cranton said Tuesday. In an update Wednesday, OPP say an initial investigation indicates a vehicle collided into the rear of a trailer being towed by the tractor. The driver of the tractor was identified as Pierre Cusson, 59, of East Hawkesbury. Cranton says investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the farm tractor travelling on Hwy. 34 prior to the crash.
