Elliot Lake's Ruben Yli-Juuti Pool closes for the summer for electrical repairs and maintenance, but will reopen briefly on Tuesday for a free 50-lap swim, as part of a 50-year anniversary event with speeches and photos until 8 p.m. The city notes that local beaches remain open all season.
