North Bay Police's Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit responded to more than 1,200 intimate partner violence calls in 2025—up 120 from 2024. With mandatory trauma-informed training for all officers, more than 900 victim referrals and a 96%+ sex offender compliance rate, the service says its comprehensive, victim-centred response is evolving.
