Federal government boosts francophone immigration to northern Ontario
The federal government is investing in three programs to attract francophone immigrants to northern Ontario, as Greater Sudbury sees a record 480 French-speaking permanent residents in 2025. Minister Lena Metlege Diab joined MP Viviane Lapointe to announce the funding, part of a broader push to counter the decline of francophone minority communities outside Quebec. Madison Marier reports.
