Northern Ontario's maple syrup season in full swing
Maple syrup production is in full swing across northern Ontario. St. Joseph Island is a hotbed for the sticky treat, producing 18 per cent of the province's supply. Its April festival draws thousands and generates $250,000 locally. Producers are watching the U.S. market, but so far no tariffs exist on maple syrup exports. Tony Ryma sits down with Matt Skube to talk about what producers are saying this year.
