Hydro One is holding a series of public meetings in Timmins, Foleyet, Chapleau and Wawa to discuss the route for proposed Wawa-Timmins power line. The project aims to boost reliability and meet rising electricity demand in northern Ontario. Construction set for 2028 with the line in service by 2030.
