An independent integrity commissioner is investigating the surprise December resignations of Callander's mayor and a councillor, Deputy Mayor Jordy Carr said during Tuesday's council meeting. She added that legal constraints prevent the council from commenting on the matter further at this time. Council is now reviewing options to fill the two vacancies ahead of the fall election.
