Hydro One is hosting open houses, in Elliot Lake and Wharncliffe on Wednesday and in Hanmer on Thursday, on its proposed Northeast Power Line project. The project connecting the Hanmer transformer station in Greater Sudbury to the Mississagi Station near Wharncliffe, northeast of Thessalon, is slated for completion in 2029.
