Students set for classes soon as school is an active construction sites in Parry Sound
Parry Sound parents rallied Friday at Parry Sound District High School over safety concerns as students face attending classes at two active construction sites in September. Demolition has begun at the old school, but the new one isn’t ready. Parents demand clarity from the Near North District School Board, which later shared its 8-page contingency plan. The $58.5 million project, funded in 2023, will eventually see students from JK-12 attend a single school at the site.
