A 36-year-old man faces first-degree murder and other charges after a woman was fatally stabbed in what police called an intimate partner violence incident early Wednesday morning. Police found the 63-year-old victim dead and a 32-year-old woman injured at a home near downtown. The accused fled but was arrested hours later with suspected self-inflicted wounds.
