Negotiations are ongoing between Glencore in Sudbury and Mine Mill Local 598, the company said Thursday – a day before the union's collective agreement expires. The union approved a strike mandate earlier this month meaning the 679 workers involved could be on the pickets lines as soon as this weekend.
