Two men were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking by police in Sudbury after a traffic stop June 30. “A traffic stop on a rental vehicle on Lasalle Boulevard where two individuals from Southern Ontario were arrested for drug offences,” police said in a news release July 2. A search warrant was used by officers at a local hotel to search the individuals, vehicle and room where they found $2300 in cocaine and $3700 cash, said police. A 39-year-old man and 30-year-old man from Lefroy, Ont. made a court appearance July 1.
