Students at R.L. Beattie Public School in Sudbury have turned gratitude into acts of kindness, assembling 50 ‘Thankful for Comfort’ bundles for the Elgin Street Mission. School-wide initiative The initiative was led by the school’s Kindness Club, which challenged classes to donate items for the bundles. Each package contained essentials such as toques, gloves, scarves, socks, hand warmers and toiletries. Additional items were also donated in bulk.
