Ontario Provincial Police have laid charges against a 76-year-old woman following a multi-vehicle collision in Parry Sound on Thursday morning. OPP responded to the incident on Church Street at about 8:40 a.m. on Sept. 11. The police service said the crash involved three vehicles. “Several people were brought to a Parry Sound area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” said OPP in a news release. As a result of the incident, one of the drivers involved, a woman from the Municipality of McDougall, has been charged with driving while under suspension and careless driving causing bodily harm. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30.
