Ontario Provincial Police say the driver of an all-terrain vehicle involved in a rollover Oct. 27 in Thessalon has been charged with impaired driving. At around 6:30 p.m., officers were called out to a single-vehicle collision involving an ATV on Huron Street in the town, police said in a news release Friday. “The driver was receiving medical attention from paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital in Thessalon,” police said. “While speaking to the driver at the hospital, the man displayed signs of impairment and was arrested.” A 30-year-old man from Thessalon was charged impaired driving. He is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court Dec. 3. The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the ATV was impounded for seven days.
