Thunder Bay Police are investigating a stabbing death that occurred July 24. “Members of the primary response unit were patrolling the area of 1010 Dawson Road at approximately 9:00 pm where a female was found with injuries consistent with a stabbing,” police said in a news release July 29. “The victim, a resident of Thunder Bay, was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.” Police said the major crimes unit is now treating the investigation as a homicide and updates will be provided as they become available.
