Officers from the Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police in Fort Frances have charged a Hamilton resident with multiple drug trafficking offences. The charges were the culmination of an investigation that began last summer into drug trafficking in the city. It ended with the execution of a search warrant Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. CDT, leading to the arrest of the 19-year-old suspect. Drugs seized include cocaine and fentanyl, as well as a significant amount of cash and evidence of drug trafficking. The suspect is charged with multiple counts of drug trafficking. He is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances at a later date. If you have any information about the trafficking of illicit drugs, call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
