TORONTO - Canadians hoping to win the giant jackpot in last night's Lotto Max draw are out of luck this Christmas morning.

No one has the winning ticket for the $50 million jackpot.

But it's not a total Christmas bust -- as there are winning claims for six of the 10 MaxMillion prizes of $1-million each in the Christmas Eve draw.

Two of the MaxMillion tickets were sold on the prairies, three in Ontario, and one in Quebec.

One of the MaxMillion prizes in Ontario will be split three ways, leaving each winner with $333,333.40.

The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on New Year's Eve will remain at $50-million, with 18 MaxMillion prizes, each worth $1-million.

The odds of winning the big prize are said to be about one in 28 million.
