A vehicle is a total loss after a fire in Montreal’s Saint-Leonard borough. Montreal police (SPVM) says at 2:15 a.m., patrol officers noticed a burning vehicle in the outdoor parking lot of a hotel on Jarry Street near Lacordaire Boulevard. Firefighters were called to put out the flames. “There is no damage to the property,” said Caroline Chèvrefils, a spokesperson with Montreal police. “Some incendiary material was found at the scene.” There were no reported injuries, and there have been no arrests. The file has been transferred to the Montreal police arson squad.
