The force confirmed that one person was arrested, but remained tight-lipped on the circumstances surrounding the incident. This comes after police were called at 9 p.m. about a dispute between two people on Wellington Street. Police who responded to the scene located an individual lying on the ground. The victim was taken to hospital, where they were pronounced dead. One person was arrested and met with investigators during the night. As of Monday morning, the SQ would not confirm whether or not the death was classified as a homicide, nor did they disclose any information about the victim or the person arrested.
