A 68-year-old woman was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after she was struck by a bus while crossing the street in Montreal’s Lachine borough. Montreal police said they received a 911 call reporting the collision at around 4:15 p.m. and then responded to the intersection of Provost Street and 25th Avenue. The woman was struck while she attempted to cross Provost, according to a police spokesperson. She was conscious when she was sent to hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. Collision investigators are being called to examine the scene of the collision.
