Tires and rims stolen from city vehicles in Montreal

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after five cars, including two owned by the city, were stripped of their tires and rims over the weekend.

The tires and rims on several vehicles, including two owned by the City of Montreal, were stolen over the weekend.

Montreal police (SPVM) say the parts were removed from a total of five cars in the parking lot of a city training facility on Louis-Hippolyte-Lafontaine Boulevard.

The incidents are being investigated as thefts of $5,000 or more.
