The City of Montreal is asking the public to provide feedback on four of the city’s bike paths to assess safety and traffic flow issues for all road users. All road users – cyclists, pedestrians, motorists, etc. – regardless of where they live, are invited to share their “experiences and concerns” about how these streets function, said city spokesperson Hugo Bourgoin. The surveys are linked below: “City teams are working on the ground to analyze these routes, and the feedback collected will help add to the analysis what the data doesn’t always show: what people actually experience when they travel through these areas,” said Bourgoin. The administration is also planning to conduct an “in-depth” review of cycling projects under study or in the design phase, including: The audit is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
