A man is in critical condition after being injured with a sharp object in downtown Montreal. Police (SPVM) said that a 911 call at around 8 p.m. reported an injured man at Cabot Square Park on Sainte-Catherine Street West and Atwater Avenue, near the Montreal Forum. Police and paramedics arrived to find a 43-year-old man suffering from “life-threatening injuries” to his upper body that appear to have been caused by a sharp object, police said. “No suspect has been arrested,” said SPVM spokesperson Jeanne Drouin. The investigation is ongoing, and a perimeter was established at the park.
