The 51-year-old man connected to Montreal’s 15th homicide of the year has died in hospital. Montreal police confirmed his death on Thursday. He was taken to hospital on Sunday afternoon in critical condition after a 44-year-old woman was killed in an apartment on 9e Avenue near Crémazie Boulevard East in the Saint-Michel neighbourhood. Police considered the man a suspect in the woman’s killing. The two were in an intimate relationship, police said, and her body showed signs of violence.
