Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) also cites a 30 per cent chance of precipitation. A few showers could hit the area around midday. However, Saturday afternoon will bring more dry weather with cloudy skies and a daytime high of 27 degrees Celsius. Saturday night is expected to be warm with an overnight low of 21 degrees Celsius. The normal low for Montreal at the beginning of August is 16 degrees Celsius. Sunday could then bring periods of heavier rain. As much as 37 millimetres could fall by the end of the day. A daytime high of 24 degrees Celsius is then expected to drop to a nighttime low of 20 degrees Celsius.
