Laval police (SPL) says it is looking into an incident of dangerous driving that occurred last January that left a six-year-old girl and a five-month-old baby dead. “Investigators assigned to this case are looking for anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant information, particularly video footage,” the force stated on Monday. This comes after the two young girls died following a multi-vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 5 on Route 335 between Dagenais Boulevard and Saint-Saëns Street. The collision, involving four vehicles, also sent nine people to hospital. Following the incident, a 40-year-old man was released with a promise to appear in court at a later date. No charges have been laid, and the case remains under investigation.
