A man was killed after losing control of his motorcycle on Sunday on a highway in the Quebec City area. Emergency responders were called around 5:30 p.m. following a collision that occurred on Highway 573 at kilometre 1 in the northbound direction. According to the Sûreté du Québec, a motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle while riding on the Highway 40 on-ramp. He then reportedly struck a bus travelling on Highway 573. The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Sûreté du Québec is investigating the causes and circumstances leading to the accident.
