Two teenage boys have been arrested after a jewelry store robbery, followed by a police chase and hit-and-run. Police say a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. reported a robbery at a jewelry store in Place Versailles. The suspects then fled in a vehicle and collided with another car at the intersection of Galeries d’Anjou Boulevard and Jarry Street. The suspects then abandoned the vehicle at Neuville Avenue and de la Pleiade Street. Police recovered an abandoned bag from the two suspects and found jewelry inside. The suspects, a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, were arrested. Police established a crime scene at the time of the incident, which has since been lifted. The suspects will meet with investigators as part of the ongoing investigation.
