Roads remain closed with more snow on the way for midwestern Ontario

A number of roads remain closed in parts of Grey and Bruce counties, as high winds and fresh snow leads to extensive drifting snow across the region.

School buses were cancelled for the second straight day in Huron, Perth, Bruce and Grey Counties.

A Blizzard Warning that covered the region Monday night ended Tuesday, but the remnants of that storm lingered, with treacherous driving conditions across the four counties.

Making matters worse, minus 20 to minus 25 degree temperatures lead to many cars not starting this morning.

Police in the region report numerous crashes and ditched cars over the past two days.

Another 15-20 centimetres of snow is expected across the four counties on Wednesday.
