The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has issued its first payment of the fiscal year to the city. Over 1.4 million dollars has been transferred to the City of London for hosting Cascades Casinos London. “Revenues from OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement allow London to invest in infrastructure and provide funding for critical community services,” said Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP Rob Flack. “Provincial revenues from Cascades Casinos London will help improve the quality of life for families across Ontario.” Since the gaming site opened in September 1999, London has received $109.2 million.
