Wednesday marks the third day of a big snowstorm moving through Midwestern Ontario. After two straight days of wind and snow, some roads are closed due to accumulating snow and drifting. Another 30 to 70 centimetres are possible and could fall on parts of Huron, Perth, Bruce, Grey, and Wellington counties through Thursday night. Multiple New Year’s Eve celebrations have been cancelled due to the weather. Police are warning only to drive if absolutely necessary.
