Dozens of salaried workers have been let go from London’s General Dynamics Land Systems. Although officials from the armoured vehicle manufacturer won’t say the exact number of people affected, reports say about 50 people have been let go. The company referred to the lay offs as a “modest” workforce reduction in a statement, based on the current workload. They said it wasn’t a decision they made lightly.
