York Regional Police have released information about 13 alleged members of an organized criminal organization in Ontario and Quebec as part of their investigation dubbed Project Wrangler. The released information includes previously unreleased short videos of a shooting at London Health Sciences Centre on Dec. 14, 2024. A gun was fired multiple times outside the emergency department entrance. The 13 suspects face more than 150 charges for crimes including homicide, attempted homicide, home invasions, armed robberies and firearms-related offences. Police say two suspects remain outstanding in the investigation, with one facing a charge of first-degree murder. Project Wrangler was a joint forces investigation, including officers in London, Ont. “The fact that violence reached hospital grounds highlights why this operation mattered. Our collective response sends a clear message: Violence in places of care and across our communities will meet a coordinated police response,” said Chief Thai Truong, London Police Service. London Police had previously released information regarding two suspects involved in the LHSC shooting.
