The Waterloo Regional Police Services are continuing to investigate a multi-vehicle collision in Wilmot Township that left three people seriously injured. Police, fire and paramedics were called to the intersection of Huron Road and Sandhills Road Saturday afternoon after reports of a crash involving two vehicles. Three people sustained serious serious injuries. One person was transported to an out-of-region hospital, while two others were transported to a local hospital. The intersection remains closed, with drivers being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the investigation continues.
