One person has died after a collision along a busy highway in Brant County. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the crash happened on Highway 403 near Rest Acres Road around 5 p.m. Monday and involved two tractor trailers and a pickup truck. “The driver of one of tractor trailers sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene,” OPP Constable Andrew Gamble said. “The driver of the second tractor trailer was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.” The driver who died was a 30-year-old from St. Thomas. Shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday, OPP announced the highway was fully reopened.
