Emergency services were called to a residential fire in Kitchener on Friday night. In a social media post at 8:48 p.m., the Waterloo Regional Police Service said Activa Avenue was closed between Periwinkle Street and Sweet William Street. No injuries were reported at the time. Video obtained by CTV News showed fire crews spraying water on a home from street level and from an apparatus overhead.
