Huron Perth Public Health is looking for a small dog that was involved in an incident in Stratford. Public health did not say what the ‘incident’ entailed, but in a news release on Tuesday, they said it happened between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the corner of Railway Avenue and Pine Street, near the Stratford Chick Hatchery. The dog was approximately knee-length in height and had curly beige fur. The owner was described as a man between 50 and 60-years-old with short grey hair and a short reddish beard. He wore rain boots, sunglasses, a black tank top and black shorts. The health unit wants to check if the dog is up to date on its rabies vaccinations.
