Police are investigating a fire at a vacant home in Woolwich Township that caused most of its damage to the front exterior. Emergency crews were called to the residence near Sunset Place at about 5 a.m. Tuesday. About 30 firefighters responded and quickly extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported, and fire officials said the residence was vacant at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and no damage estimate is available at this time. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been notified. Police are treating the fire as suspicious and continue to investigate.
