A Cambridge man has won an INSTANT BINGO top prize. Sixty-one-year-old Gary Fournier from Guelph has been playing the lottery for 25 years with OLG weekly. Fournier bought his $50,000 winning ticket at Victoria Variety on Speedvale Avenue East in Guelph. “It was a Saturday morning, and I was sipping my coffee before heading out to work when I remembered I had a few tickets to play,” Fournier shared when he was at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to get his winnings. “...when I got to the last ticket, something seemed different. I realized it was a big winner and thought to myself, ‘This can’t be real!’ My eyes widened and my hands began to shake as I checked it not once, not twice, but nearly 17 times! I was in shock. I never expected my morning to start out like that!” Fournier said he plans to put the money towards paying off bills and putting the rest in the bank “before deciding what comes next.”
