Two people are facing theft-related charges after they were arrested in a church parking lot. The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police were called to the Oakland Road lot on May 19 around 9:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found two people in a vehicle. The driver, a 42-year-old man of no fixed address, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of break-in instruments and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order. The passenger, a 32-year-old woman from Brantford, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
