A Cambridge man is planning a trip to Mexico after winning $100,000 with Encore. The OLG said Thomas Lawlor-Ryan’s ticket matched the last six of seven numbers, in the correct order, for the Dec. 19 draw. His mother was the one who checked to see if he had a winning ticket. “She called me immediately to share the news,” the 29-year-old explained as his picked up his prize in Toronto. “I was in total shock and said, ‘No way!’” Lawlor-Ryan still can’t believe his luck. “This win hasn’t hit me yet. It’s still sinking in.” Lawlor-Ryan said he’ll invest some of the money for his son’s future. He’d also like to take a trip to Mexico with his mom. The winning ticket was purchased at the Quickie store on Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge.
