After grooming snow on the mountains in Jasper National Park, Marmot Basin has opened its ski lifts for the season. People can take the Magic Carpet, School House, Eagle Express, Canadian Rockies Express, Paradise and Eagle Ridge lifts starting Wednesday. Grooming has been done on the upper and lower mountains. Some zones highlighted in red will remain closed. If you’re feeling hungry after a ski run, the cafeteria is also open, along with their bar and grill and espresso bar. At mid-mountain, Charlie’s Bar and Jim’s Den are also open. People can get 20 per cent off ski lift tickets between Wednesday and Friday.
