WestJet is decreasing its flights from Edmonton to the United States. Some routes will see a reduction in the number of flights per week and many seasonal flights are starting their seasonal run later than previously scheduled. Impacted routes include: “We saw a notable decline in transborder travel demand throughout 2025. As a result, we made timely decisions to modify our network to stay aligned with where Canadians want to go,” WestJet spokesperson Julia Kaiser wrote in an email to CTV News Edmonton. “We see no indication that this trend will change in the foreseeable future and we are implementing reductions to our transborder network in 2026 on an ongoing basis.” For more information on WestJet flights to the U.S. from Edmonton, visit the company’s website.
