If you happen to see a formation of police cars driving down the road Friday, Edmonton Police Service (EPS) and the Alberta RCMP say not to be alarmed. Minor traffic delays are expected in parts of Edmonton and rural Alberta as both services conduct training involving driving in formation and simulating the escort of a motorcade. “Drivers are reminded that police vehicles with activated emergency lights have the right of way over all other vehicles. Please follow all directions given by police officers,” a news release from EPS said. EPS did not say when or where, specifically, the training was expected to happen Friday.
