One woman is dead after a minivan she was in collided with a semi truck on Highway 22 near Drayton Valley on Monday. Mounties said in a news release they believe the truck was travelling northbound when the minivan, which had been travelling eastbound on Highway 621, crossed an intersection in front of the semi-truck. The passenger of the minivan was declared dead on the scene. She was a 67-year-old from Cynthia, Alta. The driver of the minivan was brought to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries and is still in critical condition, Mounties say.
