Man stabbed during Edmonton break-in

An Edmonton man is recovering after a stranger broke into his home and stabbed him.

An Edmonton man was stabbed during a break-and-enter early Tuesday morning, police say.

He told police his attacker entered his home near 113 Street and 73 Avenue around 6:30 a.m.

The suspect fled before police arrived.

The victim was hospitalized in stable condition, according to Emergency Health Services Alberta.

No one else was at home at the time.
