Police say a person staying at an Edmonton shelter has sexually assaulted at least four women and there may be other victims. Two women reported being assaulted by Mika Katz, 37, in August while staying at the same shelter. Katz was arrested on Sept. 10 and charged with two counts of sexual assault and released on conditions. Earlier this month, two more women came forward and reported similar assaults that also happened in August at the same shelter. Katz was arrested again on Thursday and charged with two additional counts of sexual assault and criminal harrassment. Katz may also use the name Michael Collins. Investigators opted to release Katz’s photo because of the number of charges. Anyone with information about Katz is asked to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567.
